FEITIAN partners with Avanade to deliver powerful security without passwords

Beijing, China and Santa Clara, CA - May 11, 2022 - We are excited to announce our partnership with Avanade to develop FIDO-compliant solutions that integrates with Microsoft Azure AD.

Avanade is leading provider of innovative digital cloud services, business solution, and design-led experience. Through its depth of client experience, Avanade saw firsthand that the most pressing and frequent security breaches arose from stolen passwords that were obtained through phishing. Accordingly, Avanade determined that passwordless solutions were key to helping keep its customers secure. To pursue these solutions, Avanade partnered with FEITIAN Technologies, which specializes in Fast Identity Online (FIDO) authentication and biometric security keys.

Avanade’s deployments of FEITIAN solutions integrate smoothly and easily with Microsoft Azure Active Directory and augment already ironclad Microsoft security features with passwordless capabilities. In addition to enhanced security, the passwordless solution reduces IT administration workflows that are associated with managing lost or compromised passwords. “Every time there is a password reset, studies indicate that it’s between $75 and $125. We can reduce that cost and virtually eliminate password resets.” explains Michael Gwynn, Director of Strategic Projects at FEITIAN Technologies.
