FEITIAN contactless card reader has been certified by the Ukrainian State Center of Radio Frequencies (UCRF) for radio devices

FEITIAN Technologies is pleased to announce that contactless card reader R502-CL has been certified by the Ukrainian State Center of Radio Frequencies (UCRF) for radio devices, which are equivalent to the Directive 2014/53/EU of the European Parliament and European Council dated on April 16, 2014.

Radio Frequency Conformity Assessment is designed to protect life and health of people from the danger associated with the action of electric current and electromagnetic radiation during the use of radio equipment and prevention of the creation of radio equipment of electromagnetic interference, overvoltage and excessive current. Also, it designed to ensure national security.

Radio Frequency Conformity Assessment is highly important certification for FEITIAN Technologies and local partners. Without it, we have no legal rights to sell R502-CL on Ukrainian market, especially to State Authorities, which are working with Ukrainian Citizen eIDs.

About UCRF

Starting from April 1, 2018, new technical regulations for radio electronic devices came in force in Ukraine. These TRs are subject to the Decision № 355 “On approval of the Technical Regulations for Radio Equipment” (UA RED TR) applied by The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 24.05.2017.

The Ukrainian Technical Regulations for radio devices are equal to the Directive 2014/53/EU of the European Parliament and European Council dated 16.04.2014.
